Hemlock Reishi - Ganoderma tsugae.
Harvested mere weeks ago from the Appalachian Mountains of East Tennessee. Very nice specimens, collected before the bugs could claim them. These medicinal mushrooms were rinsed, sliced to about a quarter inch, and dried in a dehydrator. Reishi is an adaptogenic mushroom, long used by humans, with many health benefits including liver tonic, immune system modulation, cardiovascular support, anti-tumor, anti-oxidant, the list goes on and on. These are ready to be infused into a mead, double extracted into a tincture, or simply brewed as a tea.
